A Daejeon practice devoted to readable procurement charts

We formed around a simple frustration: sourcing teams and finance committees looking at different versions of the same spend story.

Registered business

Official name: Cedar Path Analytics Co., Ltd.

Established: 2016

Office: Hwang Jisoo, 19 Eoullim-ro 11-gil, Nam-gu, Daejeon 34000, REP. OF KOREA

Cedar Path Analytics began when Ji-hoon Kim left a regional industrial conglomerate's procurement office and began producing independent category maps for mid-market suppliers who lacked internal analytics capacity. The first engagements were handwritten ledger reconciliations for two Chungcheong manufacturers — work that later became our standardised mapping methodology.

By 2019 we moved to our current Eoullim-ro office and added quarterly briefing retainers. Today we serve manufacturers, distributors, and med-device assemblers across Korea, with remote delivery for APAC subsidiaries that share a group chart of accounts.

Working approach

We treat every engagement as an instrument calibration: data intake, normalisation, chart drafting, peer review inside our team, then client readout. No deliverable leaves without a reconciled appendix.

Our visual language borrows from precision drafting — brass-toned highlights, engraved numerals, restrained palettes — because board members should read the argument, not decode the design.

We do not sell software access or subscription dashboards. You receive files, charts, and facilitated sessions your team owns outright.

Values we apply to every ledger

  • Reconciliation before rhetoric. Charts follow verified totals, not the other way around.
  • Category vocabulary agreed upfront. We document taxonomy decisions so plant buyers and HQ finance use the same labels.
  • Readable by non-specialists. Executives receive annotated visuals; analysts receive the full workbook.
  • Confidentiality by default. Client data stays on encrypted storage within Korea unless you request otherwise in writing.
